Gevril is a company of watch lovers. In the 1990s they decided they loved the Paul Newman Rolex Daytona so much that they wanted to make a replica as close as humanly possible so that they could wear it without fear of hurting their watch..thus this watch was born as a limited edition of 500 pieces. The proportions of this watch are EXACTLY the same as Rolex. Veteran vintage Rolex dealer Eric Ku once pointed out that the pushers and bezel are interchangeable with the real Rolex Paul Newman. It has the exact same size case (37mm)....etc...etc...I'll link a review and you can see why this watch has such a cult following.
Oh yeah......you expect it to have a valjoux 7750 or something? NOPE, It has the same movement as the previous generation royal oak chronograph!!! ETA 2824 with a Dubois & Dépraz 2020 chronograph module!
