FSOT Two interesting Canadian market Rolex watches.

The first is a Rolex Prince Railway Reference 1527. This watch was retailed by Birks Canada. It is the second Prince I have owned retailed by a Canadian company. The watch is running well and the dial is original. The case shows wear but the serial number and model number are clearly visible. The case is marked to RWC and is gold plated. The watch sets and winds properly and as far as I can tell all the components are original to the watch. You probably won't find a running Rolex Prince cheaper. $3500.00

The second Rolex is a wartime Commander. Nothing special with the watch, however it runs well and the screw down crown works properly. The dial is original. The case shows wear, especially between the lugs where a metal strap caused plating loss. What makes the watch special is that it was awarded to one of Canada's great rodeo riders, Jerry Ambler. He appeared in movies and is a member of the Rodeo Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the greatest bronc busters. It is a historic western Canadian timepiece. $1000.00

Further photos available. I have completed a few deals on the forum.

Take 20% off. That is a very good price for a Prince Railway. There is a restored one on an auction site right now for $7000US.
