I am offering a Rolex Submariner 1680 for trade. Watches i am looking for trade (plus or minor) are PP Nautilus, PP Aquanaut, Rolex Daytona 116520, Rolex Submariner 16610 LV. No other brands, goods or services.
- no box or papers
- 3.9xx,xxx serial number, which is about 1973-74 production.
- Hour plots and hands have matching cream patina
- equipped with 93150 bracelet with 501B end links
- keeps COSC time
- serviced by a Rolex watchmaker in March 2018
- what was replaced during service ? Gaskets only. The watch was keeping time with zero second gain or loss even prior to the service. Oil was dry a bit. It was more of a preventative service.
- service engravings inside the backcase indicate the watch has been well loved and cared for
- Serial number and model number are in tact between lugs
- case has been polished in the past ( it wasn’t polished during the last service)
- the top hat has some swirls and a scratch on the cyclop , which distorts the view of date window a bit. It could be polished off with polywatch
- I could buy a NOS top hat to replace the glass if so desired,
- it’s an about 45 years old watch. It has some wear and tear marks. If you would like it to look brand new , i could get it professionally polished for $100
