Up for grabs is my GO Sixties Square Chronograph.
This Ref 39-34-02-32-04 punches well above its price point and is incredibly handsome on wrist.
Classy, elegant and photogenic are a few words I can use to describe this beauty.
GO brings to the table a finer detailing, while not entirely missed by the Swiss comparables, that is simply more refined nuanced, a masterclass if you will.
The watch is in overall excellent condition, with a few minor hairlines on the case.
The strap has some wear to it with some fraying near the keeper and where the tongue meets the tang buckle.
The dial and crystal are in impeccable shape and GO did an excellent job in ensuring that the dial itself comes in at about 41mm, resulting in only a sheer amount of metal between 9 and 3.
There is a uniformity to the watch on wrist as the domed dial is adorned with a domed crystal that is met with a similar slope downward away from the case resulting in a thinner wearing experience
The dial features diamond cut hour markers exposing the galvanized dial and the bicompax register layout is very 60’s which is what GO was driving at with these models.
The Louisiana alligator leather strap is by far one of the nicest and most rugged alligators I’ve ever experienced as a stock strap on a watch under 10k.
The movement inside is the In house 39-34 boasting a 40-hour power reserve and is the highest end version of their 39 caliber.
The winding rotor is solid 21k gold with the skeletonized double-G logo.
At 41x41mm the squarish tonneau case wears incredibly comfortably on my 7.5” wrist and I would recommend for a wrist size of atleast 7”.
If you have not tried a Glashutte yet, you’re doing yourself a dissservice; while not nearly as upper class as a Lange, for the price, it gets you more than halfway there, for less than a quarter of the price.
