Glycine Airman Base 22 Mystery. Watch is in Montreal
Up for sale is my murdered out Glycine Airman Mystery, in good aesthetic condition with a very complete kit, a few extras and a few quirks.
It’s a supremely cool GMT, that wears very well, is a versatile with many straps and is really well put together. It was this Worn & Wound article that convinced me to pick one up.
It is in good condition with a few small hairlines and rubs from strap changes. They are not visible to my eyes, but can be seen seen under magnification (as seen in photos). MSRP at time of release was ~$3250 CAD before taxes & duties. I’ve tried to capture any and all flaws in the photos here for maximum transparency - I hate surprises and I don’t want you having any either. These are the least flattering photos & 4K video I could take.
It does have two issues though, and is priced accordingly to account for the replacement part and a full service. Someone handier than I could likely fix these easily and have an awesome watch for a steal.

- The threads on the GMT crown no longer grip, and that crown can sit loose. $42 for a new crown on the Invicta site.
- It could use a movement cleaning and a service as time keeping is a bit erratic. It’s been well behaved today as I was trying to remember the issue, but I remember it stopping sometimes, even when well wound.
- Double box, hang tag, papers
- original NATO strap & buckle in excellent condition
- Two more like-new seatbelt style NATOs with black hardware that look great with the watch
