Good afternoon, all, from the London, ON, region.

I'm relatively new to the world of watches but I've built up a small and I believe decent collection, and I've been thinking of selling a piece or two as I have my eye on others. A co-worker with a sizable collection and mentor to me in this hobby has recommended this site as a place to learn much about watches, the Canadian watch scene, and to be a part of that community. As with other hobbies (astronomy, audio, photography), I prefer to buy and sell within Canada (when I do sell, which isn't terribly often or as often as I probably should), and I prefer to buy and sell within enthusiast communities, not the "ick" world of FB marketplace and similar general online flea-markets. I'm not a "flipper" or in this for profit. I enjoy my hobbies and all that goes with them, especially the learning. I tend to amass a lot of things as I dive into my interests, and giving them up does not generaally come easy for me. Just ask my ever-so-patient wife.

I hope to be able to give back as much as I gain as a part of this community.

In a similar boat on terms of getting deep into hobbies and amassing collections. I too have a patient wife!
