I'm putting feelers up for this one. I just picked up this Mido 1961 Decompression Ocean Star from an AD a couple weeks ago and absolutely love it. However, I got a call on Thursday for a black bay blue 58 that I honestly didn't expect to get at all and it's getting all my wrist time.
The Mido is stunning and in perfect condition. Comes with all the boxes, tags, cards and extra straps (but I promise you won't want to take it off of the milanese). Note that there is a tiny bit of chipping on the edge of the interior where the watch sits. This was common to all of the watches from the loose packing by Mido where the sides of the strap hit the edges (see the last pic attached), but I looked over the watch and it's in perfect condition. Speaking of perfect, over 5 days it was running -1sec total. Just insane and the most accurate mechanical watch I've worn. For transparency, as commonly reported, the bezel action on this one isn't great but honestly that's the one and only niggle.
Offering at $2100 shipped and insured, and firm on this price. It's not a sales ploy when I say I am struggling on whether or not to sell this piece and I will be happy to keep it as well [emoji3526]. Let me know I'd you like more pictures and I will be happy to send them.
