Featuring a deep red dial, matching aluminum bezel and a bead blasted Fricker case, this watch is similar in size to a Planet Ocean or a Steelfish.
Definitley a substantial 1000m diver, so If you like a watch to have some heft and presence, this is for you.
I’m the original owner of this rare red dial model - purchased it new in 2010 from a then local Muhle Glashutte AD.
This watch:
- comes with the original box (steel case) and papers (one booklet with warranty).
- was worn in rotation with other watches in my collection.
- was lightly serviced (inspection, regulation and pressure check) in Dec 2019. Since then it’s mostly been a safe queen with occasional windings every month or so.
- has not been re-finished in any way.
- comes on the original thick rubber strap that was sized for a very loose fit to my 19cm (7.5 in) wrist. It was also never changed so no lug marks are present.
- shows a couple of cosmetic flaws: a small rub mark on the case side near the helium valve and the clasp has light desk diving surface scratches (see photos).
- compared to the NRC web clock over recent 24H periods from fully wound showed:
- Dial Up: - 4s
- Dial Down: - 6s
- On the wrist: + 1s
- While not a prolific poster on CWC, I am an 8+ year member who finally needs to make space for incoming pieces. This is only my second sales posting on CWC.
- Myself and the watch are located in Vancouver.
- $2250 asking price includes insured shipping.
- Payment method: Interac e-Transfer.
- No trades at this time.
