Up for sale is my second-generation Omega Seamaster Planet Ocean, boasting the in-house Calibre 8500. The 8500 movement had been around for a while but this watch saw the adoption of a silicon hairspring and garnered the distinction of Co-Axial Chronometer. In my opinion the proportions of the 42mm case size are perfect. This watch comes with the original bracelet and clasp but has also been upgraded to the Omega micro adjustment clasp. It is hard to forget you have this beauty on your wrist, but the micro adjustment clasp keeps it snug to your arm, making for an incredible wearing experience. The grey ceramic bezel is pure class and the flashes of colour on the tip of the second hand, and in the text Seamaster add just a touch of sport to an incredibly elegant timepiece. The exhibition case back shows off the handsome movement and can offer much needed distraction when sitting through long Teams meetings.

This watch appears to have been purchased originally purchased in Japan in 2019. I do not know if it was serviced prior to purchasing it in 2021, but I had it thoroughly inspected by a very reputable watchmaker in Vancouver, who felt that it was in great working order. The watch got a lot of wrist time for the first few years that I owned it, but recently it has taken a backseat to another one of my grail watches. It does have signs of wear, as can be seen in the photos, but it was never abused, and seems to be keeping great time.

The watch comes with the wooden display box, all papers, links, original clasp, and micro adjustment clast. The protective cardboard omega box is in good shape except for the fold down flap, which is partially detached.

I am asking $5,600 CAD plus shipping. The watch and I are currently in the Okanagan region of BC, but as I travel often for work, a F2F transaction should be possible in Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton. I am not in a rush to sell, and am not really interested in any trades at the moment… well, I guess I would be open to hearing about really interesting trades…

Feel free to message me with any questions you may have. Thank you.01 - Front.JPG02.JPG03.JPG04.JPG05.JPG06.JPG08.JPG09.JPG10.JPG13.JPG14.jpg
