Hard to believe the Planet Ocean launched over 20 years ago...
This is arguably the most recognizable Omega from that era. Some say it was their response to the striking green bezel of the Submariner "Kermit"
My 22085000 was purchased new in 2010 and is part of a large collection. It saw a below-average amount of wrist time and over the years and it shows. Other than some noticeable "clasp rash" it is a very clean example. The odd flea bite or tiny abrasion may appear under magnification.
The 2500 Caliber in this watch is amazing. It can be sitting for months and the act of simply picking it up gets it moving. My Subs need to be shaken long & hard to get going. I love this movement. Keeps excellent time as well.
I never felt the need to service the watch and it runs perfectly and silently.
It's an impressive diver (600m / 2000ft) and don't let the 45.5mm case intimidate you. I have a small wrist and looks great, lays down super-comfortably and and doesn't sit a mile high. You could wear it for days & forget it's on your wrist.
It's got the helium escape valve and the unidirectional bezel with the iconic orange insert. You can spot it across the room, yet it does not look gaudy or ostentatious. If you like dive watches, you'll love it. If it's going to be your first Omega, you can't go wrong. At a fraction the cost of a Sub, it's amazing value for your first prestige timepiece.
This is the full kit; all the links, all 3 cards... the works. There is some minor peeling on the Red Box and some cancer on the white wallet (common with both of this age) The pics were taken today and I opted to not get the clasp buffed up for the sale. If you want me to get it done as part of the sale I will. I just thought it best to leave 100% original. Bracelet is awesome and shows little if any stretch.
There are none currently on our group and when you do your research you'll see they are priced from mid-high $4's and low $6's. I have a solid rep here and have sold over a dozen watches with 100% positive feedback. I'm not a flipper, I've been buying and wearing Swiss for over 40 years.
Watch is priced this on the lower end for a quick sale: $4,750 to your door with you providing the label. Otherwise, tack on a hundred for shipping.
Cheers!
Wayne
