The Apollo 11 45th Anniversary Moon Watch commemorates the 45th anniversary of the first lunar landing. At 20:18 UTC on July 20th 1969 the Apollo 11 landed on the moon, 6 hours later at 02:56 UTC on July 21 1969 two NASA astronauts the first human beings ever to set foot on the moon. Strapped to Buzz Aldrin's wrist was an OMEGA Speedmaster Professional chronograph. This watch commemorates the first lunar landing and incorporates the colors of the moon and the Apollo 11 lunar and command modules.

Brushed grade 2 titanium case, pushers and crown.

Fixed brushed 18kt Sedna (rose) gold bezel with a matte grey bezel ring with a Tachymeter scale.

Matte brown/grey colored dial. The dial is made using a special technique incorporating the use of an advanced laser engraving which removes the material surround the name, sub-dials & minute/seconds track.

Black brushed finished raised minute, seconds, fractions-of-a-second track & sub-dial indications.

Brushed rose gold applied index hour markers.

Brushed rose gold hands - hour, minutes & chrono seconds hand with luminous fill.

Chronograph/Stop-watch function:

Large central seconds counter hand.
30 minute counter sub-dial at the 3 o'clock position.
12 hour counter sub-dial at the 6 o'clock position.
Small seconds dial at 9 o'clock.

Case-back is:

Embossed with the Speedmaster logo at the center. Engraved towards the center are the words "FLIGHT-QUALIFIED BY NASA FOR ALL MANNED SPACE MISSIONS" & "THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON". Engraved on the outer perimeter are the words "APOLLO 11 - 45th ANNIVERSARY - LIMITED EDITION - xxx/1969". The outer circle of the case-back is black chrome filled engraved with "THE FIRST WATCH WORN ON THE MOON", "JULY 30, 1971" and the limited edition number.

Comes on a brown nylon fabric NATO style strap fitted with a brushed titanium tang (regular pin) style buckle.

The watch is powered by the famed Omega Caliber 1861, beats at 21,600 vph, contains 18 Jewels & has an approximate power reserve of 48 hours.

The watch is delivered in a special commemorative box & a limited edition certificate.
