This 44 mm ceramic Luminor doesn't just have a flyback chronograph, it also has a sub-second "reset" flyback as well... hacks like a true champion.
The watch was well worn before being sent to Panerai last spring. The watch was given a new case, crystal and complete service... many thousands of dollars spent... and is under OEM warranty until July, 2025.
New case and crystal. Looks brand new on the wrist!
The DLC coated titanium caseback and buckle show signs of wear.
The watch will go out to you the same as it came to me... double boxed with an OEM accordian style rubber strap, and a custom "assolutamente" type strap. I will also add in an OEM strap... possibly the one seen here in the photos. The watch has a warranty card that comes along with it, dated 2018... I would take that card with a grain of salt, as I believe that this movement came from Panerai with printed warranty details in a booklet. Sometimes the correct boxset goes missing at an AD and this is the result, or sometimes it is someone building a kit around a watch. I currently own a BNIB limited edition IWC where the dealer could not locate the original box and papers... so it does happen.
Either way, the original warranty is long passed, and it passed muster with Panerai when they did the complete service.
I picked it up on trade in December before I left on a 3 month vacation, and I actually forgot it was in the safe until I got back. I have been wearing most days the past 2 weeks. I also own another variation of this watch in steel that is in my permanent (for now... lol) collection. There is something about the dial configuration, the balance between the starboard side crown guard and the port side chrono pushers that give this watch an enormous amount of sex appeal.
In 2023 Panerai re-issued a version of this watch in limited quantity in a ceramic case with a very special dial, and it is priced at $22,500!
Yours for $10,985 on your wrist.
