Up for grabs is my rare, vintage Grand Seiko SBGR017 complete with the original box, movement certificate, and operating manual. This GS has a few stand-out feature that you won't find on many other references.
i) The bullet-prof bracelet that is constructed of multiple components and fixed by robust screw pins
ii) The 12-sided bezel with a mixture of GS finishing that give it a sporting vibe for an overall classy timepiece
iii) Dual Arabic markers (12 and 6'O Clock hour indices) in a really cool font, as well as the amazing geometric pattern to the dial.
This watch is over 20-years old but I can attest that it's in overall great shape. The 9S55 automatic movement runs and winds very smoothly (around +5 sec/day) and the crown threads down great, aiding in the 200M water resistance rating! The case dimensions are 39mm diameter, around 13mm thick, and just under 46mm long. Lug spacing is 19mm with drilled lugs for easy strap changes (though I'd keep this on the bracelet because it's amazing). There are a few spots on the underside of the crystal where the AR has faded, but it's really hard to detect and not really noticeable (my photos didn't really capture anything of note).
Overall service history is unknown, but the prior owner had it checked out by a certified watchmaker in Vancouver and no service work was suggested, as it's a clean example. You're getting a rare GS reference with box/papers for only $3300 F2F in London, Ontario (or shipped at your expense).
