Hello CWC, feel weird to post these 2 for sale. They took a lot of research and patience to source them. If you are a Seiko nut you know these 2 pieces. I do miss my Longines Big Eye and eyeing another piece as well hence these are for sale.
1. Seiko 6139-6032
Also nicknamed as "Coke Pogue" due to the black and red insert bezel.
These are becoming more and more sought after. IMHO this is the best looking out of the bunch from the Pogue family.
From the Speedmaster-esque vibe to the futuristic case that is unpolished with sexy sharp lines.
The dial is in excelent condition and clean hands as well for its age. Original crystal. Case has very little wear. There is some wear on top of the lugs from bracelet but those are not even proper scratches. This watch also has the inner-rotating bezel. One of the things i love on this movement is that you can change the date and day differentiated by 2 levels of pushing in the crown.
Watch keeps good time and resets to 12 due to the fact it was serviced not long ago by a retired Seiko watchmaker.
Case size 41mm, thickness about 13mm wears very good on the wrist! These will become more sought after especially in the condition as mine. I rate the condition 9/10 being great to mint. The market has skyrocketed for them and i price mine for a fair price of $1450 in GTA plus shipping if across Canada. https://wornandwound.com/watch-collecting-seiko-chronographs-watchrecons-sammy-sy/
2. Seiko 7016-8001 in a MINT condition! Seiko 7016s are quite rare made by the DAINI factory. In the past Seiko created a division of 2 factories within the company to compete against the Swiss industry. The other one is of course SUWA factory.
So whats special about this watch?
Well, 7016 are hard to find but this is also a fantastic condition you wont find anywhere else. I guarantee you that! When rarity and condition combine you know its [emoji1362]. Moving onto the movement. This caliber 7016 is both a Flyback and a Column wheel, stacked hands. Date changes by pushing in the crown. Keeps good time but recently chrono doesn't reset exactly to 12 which is a quick fix. Original crystal. Quite a marvel in the 70s. If you are in the market for a flyback itll be in the 5k at least. It comes with a Seiko box but not sure it its period correct. Dial is mint! Case is mint unpolished! Paired with a brown vintage strap.
Size: 37.5mm thickness 12mm
This beauty will cost you $1650 firm in GTA for a f2f or across Canada plus shipping. One thing i do have to say is... buy before you will regret [emoji4]
