For sale is a Rolex Datejust Two Tone 16013 Champagne dial in superb condition.

The watch dates back to 1979. I have a full set for it except for the papers that were probably thrown out by the original owner once the warranty ran out.

The watch was serviced a bit less than a year ago by a trusted watchmaker. During this service, the watch was completely overhauled and the crystal was replaced with an original Rolex part. When I received the watch, I was pleased by its condition but a bit let down by two points. The watch was running a bit imprecise and the crown threading was thin and difficult to engage. Knowing that the last service was still under warranty, I had it sent back to the watchmaker. The watch received a second overhaul and adjustment and the crown was replaced by an original Rolex part. I have the honesty of the last owner to thank for that.

The watch now runs at COSC, has a new crown that operates like it should and has a new crystal. The other parts are all original. The original crown is included in the sale.

The watch head is in incredible aesthetic state. The bracelet understandably shows stretch. A basic black leather strap is also included.

Asking for a net 4,800$.
