Up for sales my 1988 18238 Double Quick Set Day Date in 36mm of absolute goodness!
Just fresh from Rolex Service. New Hands, Dial, Datewheel & Day Wheel.
Condition is very nice. Bracelet is original with 22links. It’s missing 2. Watch is all original except of course the new service items. Saphirre Crystal is Flawless, Fluted Bezel is beautiful and shines in the light amazingly. Movement has just been serviced so running smooth and on time.
Comes with Service Card and Service Pouch. Service card is the new style with QR Code. Also comes with original President Rolex box from 1988 but does not have any internal pieces such as the foam it would sit on.
My wrist is 6.7 and it fits loose (added picture so you can get an idea). Watch was not polished in this recent service. It was polished at some point in the last 36 years but I highly doubt more than once. The Bezel is so crisp and raised I don’t believe it’s ever been polished but I can’t say 100%. I am the second owner of the watch.

This is the first year of the Double Quick set! So own a piece of History! - it’s smooth as butter when advancing the date.
When I took it in for service the big surprise the Rolex guy gave me was when he was surprised the bracelet was the exact year/model for the watch. He said it’s rare these days to find original president bracelet in good condition and the correct year. I guess most they see this age are on leather now a days.
