Up for sale is this Seiko 6306-7001 dated from October 1978. This example is all original and is one of the cleaner, untouched 6306’s you’re going to come across. This is the rarer JDM model of the iconic Turtle with upgraded movement including more jewels and a hacking lever. The dial and hands are original and in fantastic shape. The text on the dial is a dark orange. The lume is in amazing shape and has patina'd to a nice light creamy color. The crystal is all original, has some scuffs, but can only be seen at certain angles. The bezel insert is original, nearly blemish-free and clicks solidly as it should. The crown screws down with 2-3 turns. While not sure of the service history, the watch has been keeping good time. The hacking function works as it should. Day and date function perfectly as it should. Don’t really want to give this one up but an opportunity has come up and would like to see what this will fetch. Asking $1500 obro.
