For sale is my upgraded Seiko SKX007. Over all it’s in good shape and would make an awesome daily beater! This has had pretty much every upgrade you can do to and SKX already performed.
Here’s my breakdown:
- Seiko SKX007 Base watch (~$250)
- StrapCode/Miltat Endmill bracelet with OEM Sekio Clasp – with spare links ($85)
- Sunburst Blue Padi style dial ($30 – full disclosure, I don’t think this is OEM and there is a minor defect near the 10 o’clock marker but very tiny – looks like speck of dust)
- One Second Closer (OSC) Coin Edge Bezel ($50)
- NamokiMODs Steel Bezel insert ($30)
- Crystal Times Brushed Chapter Ring ($20)
- Signed “S” Crown ($40)
- OSC Blue AR Sapphire Crystal ($50)
- Upgraded (Hacking +Handwind) NH36 Movement ($60)
- MarineMaster Style Hands ($40)
Total if you were to buy all these parts is ~$650. I’m looking for $450 net to me (not looking for any Trades, thank you).
The condition is pretty good as you can see from the pics. I have greased the gaskets with genuine Seiko silicon grease but I have no methods of pressure testing so I can’t guarantee any sort of water resistance. I would recommend having that done by a professional if you are intending on taking this in the water.
I’ve picked up a few higher end Seiko Divers and my beloved SKXs are not getting any wrist time, so it’s time to let them go (I have 2 others with similar upgrades that I’ll be listing soon).
I’m located on the east side of the GTA but would be willing to ship anywhere in Canada.
***As a sidenote: I do have an OEM SKX007J dial that would be willing to swap if someone was not interested in this dial.
