Selling this for a good friend in Toronto. I have possession of the watch and will be shipping it out. It’s a 1680 Submariner, serial 3.9M, dating the case to 1973. The dial is super clean and basically flawless, with very nice creamy patina.
The dial is an original Mark 1 dial.
The bezel insert and luminova pip are both service units. The watch is telling great time. The watch has definitely been polished. The worst part about the watch is the lower crown guard, which has been heavily polished. This can be seen in the pictures, and is the reason why it’s priced a bit lower.
Watch only and no box and papers. The bracelet is a 93150 with S11 clasp code.
