Up for your consideration is a Vintage 1966 Omega Constellation 168.004 in MINT CONDITION that was just serviced by Shane Ede a couple of weeks ago, and is ready to rock.
This is not your typical Vintage Constellation, as this one is a more modern sized 35.5mm case, that wears comparable to a Rolex Datejust.
The movement is a pristine Omega caliber 561 certified chronometer, 24 jewels. Running like a champ since the Shane Ede service. Please note that the pics below of the movement was taken prior to when Shane Ede serviced it.
Original dial is absolutely mint with baton indices inlaid with lume.
Original silver dauphine hands with lume strip is in mint condition.
Original crystal with stamped logo has no chips or cracks of any kind. A little Polywatch would get rid of any other light surface scratches.
There are minor scuffs on the caseback, while the unpolished medallion is crisp and well defined.
The rest of the case has small traces of wear throughout. This is truly a well preserved classic timepiece that appears to have been babied for 50 years.
Comes with an original Omega 1503/1 beads of rice bracelet that can be sized to fit a wrist as big as 7.5 inches.
In my opinion, it looks better on an 18mm width leather strap. Especially this OEM Audemars Piguet black semi-matte Crocodile strap that I am also selling here.
