To keep up with the one-in one-out rule, I'm needing to let go of this Tudor Submariner 7016. Below are some details, but let me know if you have any specific questions:
Dial + Hands:
Beautiful Tudor Rose logo dial with gilt hash marks. Nice patina on the lume plots of the dial. There is a bruise on the lume of the 6 o clock marker. The lume on the hands are slightly lighter in shade than the lume on the dial, which appears to be common for 7016s from this era based on other examples. The dial and hands react similarly to UV light exposure and holds a charge for a short period. My understanding is that this is the expected reaction for Rolex/Tudor watches from the late 60s.
Case: The case shows use with some dings and scratches. Most notably, there are dings on the chamfer of the lug and on the side of the lug at 7 o clock and above the crown at 2 o clock. There is also a scratch on above the crown. The caseback also shows some scratches. The chamfers are thick on all lugs, which I have attempted to capture in the pictures.
Bezel:
Mark 3 bezel insert. Friction bezel that rotates in both directions.
Bracelet:
C&I Rivet Bracelet marked I-71. Bracelet is period correct but not original to the watch.
Service History:
Watch was serviced and pressure tested in November 2020 at Roldorf & Co in Vancouver.
Watch is based in greater Vancouver. Looking for $11,000 + insured shipping costs. Thanks for the space!
