For sale, a nice example 1983 Seiko 6458 diver. These have the aesthetic cues of the SKX 007, but measure 38mm in case size and 19mm lug width (my wrist is 6.25” for reference). So, if you’ve ever felt like you’d just like a slightly smaller diver, this piece is for you!
Watch is a quartz movement, and if I understand the history correctly, they were a Japan Domestic Model only. WR is 150 but watch has not been pressure tested. Appropriate wear for the age of the watch, with no deep gouges or thin lugs. The watch has a pleasing blend of minimalist matte black dial, with metal lined lume plots (lume no longer glows). Previous owner indicated it was a new battery.
Bezel could use a cleaning - still spins, but with some resistance. Wear mark on the crystal at 4:00, some superficial scratches on the bezel. Day date changes perfectly and has nice alignment, ditto for chapter ring.
Watch comes with crown and buckle supreme (seatbelt texture) nato in deep green, and jubilee style bracelet.
Happy to answer any questions at all. Watch is in Regina area SK, $350 (EMT) shipped to you.
