Up for your consideration is a beautiful 1999 Rolex Sub 14060 with the Swiss only dial. This was a transitional model that used Luminova in between tritium and Super Luminova and referenced by the “Swiss” only dial. These are estimated to have been in production for approximately 1 year.
Personally what I love most about this specific model is the lack of text. IMHO Submariner dials tend to look cluttered. This is not the case with this modern-esque take of a traditional 2 liner.
Who knows if this is rarer (very few subs are actually rare) or more sought after than other Subs but there is no arguing it is a bit different and a little less common than most of the stuff out there.
Watch is in fantastic condition for its age with thick lugs, sharp edges and bracelet has 11 links. As beautiful as it is, it’s from 1999 and has been worn so it does show signs of wear. There are scratches on the case and bracelet and there is a fleabite just below the crown underneath the bezel at the 20 mark. I have taken photos in direct light to enhance any wear on the watch. Happy to provide any additional photos if needed.
Comes with everything shown in photos. Watch box, booklets, hang tags, calendar, pouch and anchor. Unfortunately original papers are long gone and not included.
This was inspected by a trusted watchmaker not long ago and he informed me that the watch is running fine and service is not yet needed. That being said please know that I don’t have any specific service documents and service history is unknown.
Offering this for $10,500 shipped anywhere in Canada.
