Hey folks
Up for grabs is one of the best examples of a 16570 I’ve come by to date.
The watch is in fantastic condition, with maybe a couple of faint hairlines on one or two links.
The clasp shows no wear and is tight.
The bracelet shows no stretch.
The polished case sides have some minor scratches, while the chamfered edges are crisp and defined.
The caseback hologram sticker is still adhered to the back.
Overall this is an unpolished piece that sits beautifully on the wrist and in my estimation has not been worn much by the previous owners.
Though there is no service history, it’s running at +2s a day and an amplitude of about 275, so you’re not likely to need a service any time soon.
The watch comes as a near full kit, it’s short one link from what I can tell.
There are a total of 11 links, not including the end links or the links attached to either end of the clasp.
It’s currently sized for about a 7.2” wrist and there is an additional link which will allow it to fit up to a 7.5” wrist atleast.
The watch includes the inner/outer box,
Explorer booklet, oyster perpetual booklet, 2003/2004 calendar card, the warranty card and holder, and Ofcourse the watch and links.
I’m setting this at an aggressive $10,499 for the very sweet package you’re getting with this piece.
I’ll only entertain trades down if at all, and it might likely be at a higher trade value unless it’s a very liquid piece.
