Up for grabs today is one hell of a value proposition. 2021 Grand Seiko SBGJ237 GMT with a hi-beat movement ticking away at 36,000 beats per hour. The watch is sold as a full set with inner and outer box, International warranty, certificate of inspection, all links, and the balance of warranty through April 2024.
Condition of the watch is excellent with a few hairlines on the polished finishes and a couple scratches on the clasp from desk dives. This watch has been worn carefully on few occasions and has no significant marks, dings or fleabites.
The SBGJ237 features a stunning deep blue dial with hand finished indices that dance in the sunlight. The bi-rotational GMT bezel is covered by a sapphire to ensure the ultimate scratch resistance all the whilst allowing the gorgeous colour shift of the bezel insert from Midnight to a bright blue, my personal favourite touch of attention to detail. This watch features some of the highest levels of watch making on the planet at its respective price point. The well decorated, in house, automatic caliber 9S86 hi-beat movement is a true GMT movement with jumping hour hand that offers a smoother second sweep than most of its Swiss made competitors. Some of the highlights of the movement include 55 hour power reserve, 37 jewel count, as well as an average daily rate of +5 to -3 seconds per day of accuracy.
