Hey Folks
Up today I have my SBGM247 that is ideal for the world traveler exploring this new world as borders open up.
I believe one of the first ones posted for sale in the forum, this watch comes in at 40.5mm, it is perfectly balanced on wrist with a thickness of 14mm.
Similar in case and design to the SBGE253/255/257, this model features the automatic caliber 9S66 movement with a power reserve of 3 days (72 hours) and an accuracy of +5/-3s a day, however this task master runs at a steady 0s/day
The brushed bezel adds to the more rugged aesthetic, while the brushed no nonsense bracelet makes it an easy pairing with jeans and tees or a sport jacket.
The olive green dial with a contrasting orange GMT hand perfectly compliments that martini you’ll be sipping while in flight and the lume, on the 12/3/6/9 markers will make for a legible time keeping assistant.
Condition wise, this timepiece has been gently loved with no signs of wear on the bracelet, some very minor surface wear signs on the crown side and one tiny hairline on the non crown side. The bracelet has very tiny hairlines that require angling to view, which are forgiven by the availability of micro adjustments on the clasp.
Overall, this is as great an under-the-radar True GMT as one can get for a very accessible price point and a solid 5 year warranty.
Asking $5499 f2f in the GTA Obo - shipping available as well
Trades are also welcome.
