Due to the need to fund an upcoming project, and due to lack of deserved wrist time, I am listing my Ball Fireman diver.
This thing punches way above its weight class, has great wrist presence for a 42mm watch, and the build quality is incredible.
See pics for condition, my photography skills are lacking so if you need any other pictures please let me know.
Winds and keeps time as it should.
It has the usual desk diving swirls and a very minor flea bite on the case side. Crystal and bezel are flawless.
This watch was bought BNIB grey market off eBay two years ago, but comes with the full kit: full box, outer sleeve, warranty card, owners manual, cd, hang tag and all links. Also included is a generic rubber strap with deployant the suits the watch really well.
Honestly if it wasn’t for my Oris Aquis that I’ve fallen head over heels for, this would be my daily driver as it’s the perfect summer/vacation piece.
I’m not really in a rush or have a mad desire to sell so my asking price is firm, and fair at $1,000 plus shipping. I will also gladly meet face to face in southern Ontario.
From the Ball website:
“The Ball Fireman NECC is the end result of a partnership with The Navy Expeditionary Combat Command, an operational command that ensures the management, staffing, training and equipping their forces, and whose missions are focused on achieving objectives in coalition with the Navy, reinforcing their lines on combat missions whatever the environment.
Thus developing an instrument that is part of the “gear” of these Special Forces would suggest a challenge for any watchmaking House, but not for BALL Watch, which is used to provide maximum anti-shock capacity (up to 5.000Gs), along with antimagnetic protection up to 4800 A/m. Also, BALL Watch’s light capacity is indisputable; using Tritium gas micro tubes that light up the indicators for the next 25 years.”
