Though no service records, it being AD serviced seems likely given the owner opted for new luminova hands AND a whole new fresh luminova bezel.

I’m swapping the bezel out with a tritium bezel from the same year I have, so if one were so inclined, could source (or i can) a set of tritium hands if that’s their preference.

I bought the watch as a “watch only”
Purchase. Will include authenticity from Damiani. I also have year correct booklets, guarentee books, boxes, and a few OEM strap options.

The tritium dial just got a new friend!

Tritium dial...meet tritium bezel.

Also. I scoured the interwebs to get a photo of a panerai dive model without the bezel on (I have my reasons) but came up with nothing.

So, to anyone equally interested out there. Here is the mystical world that lay beneath ye halo of twisted metal.

On the plus side, I’m one tritium hand set away from this little Betty getting more original than even that one dance move you made up that one time, and practice it only in the mirror cause this one you’re keeping just for yourself.

Tritium Match made in heaven. And now with the service bezel from this watch, along with the OEM case I got yesterday, as well as movement, dial and handset I got over a year ago...and the Panerai Project Watch assembly is about to begin!!

Please note that free of charge I will have the watch brought to literal as-new levels of perfection given I I know the best polisher in the city. He’s seen the PAM24 and assured me it’s a minimally invasive, yet very time consuming process which he is happy to undertake...for lots of money.

Though my anti-polishing policy has probably burned a hole in my pocket large enough to fit many very fancy watches inside.

But I can’t change now. Set in my ways. And where does it end? Today it’s polishing a watch case. Tomorrow it’s washing that dirty 50’s Submariner dial with soap and water to get the funny coloured stuff off the numbers. ; )

And as a general aside, I started looking deeper into getting a set of tritium hands, and discovered that all the T-dial pam24’s I found had luminova hands.

So, Given this was a g-series watch, and tritium hands were only used on the A and 50% of B series....this watch was actually all original.

Oh Panerai. Causing so much confusion since 1998 : )
