This beautiful Explorer 2 40mm K Series watch was purchased brand new at a Hong Kong Authorized dealer in 2002.
It was serviced by the Rolex Service Center in Hong Kong in July, 2016. Regular overhaul plus case and bracelet polish.
The serviced was VERIFIED by buyer at Rolex when watch arrived in Canada. It will travel with the service papers.
Looks spectacular and minty on the wrist. Polish job was not too heavy and very little sign of any previous dings or dents on the case.
Inner and outer boxset (16570 sticker!) as well as two booklets, the wallet, the red hang tag and the original warranty papers. All links present and accounted for!
There are several dings on the rehaut of the inside case likely donated by a non Rolex watchmaker earlier in its life. There are also a couple of very faint scratches on the crystal that I can see at the corre\ct angle with my loupe but could not capture in my photo tent. I cannot feel the scratches, and probably you wouldn't notice them, but they are there.
Overall this is a stunning 14 year old watch, and a great way to get a fully verified and serviced minty Rolex at a price under 5k.
If not sold today or tomorrow, it will be withdrawn until the new year.
