This is a catch and release for me as I have an incoming.
This is an absolutely stunning tool watch. Full kit is included with warranty card dated February 26, 2016.
The watch is in fantastic condition and shows very little signs of wear.
Also included is the Fortis yellow silicone rubber strap with Fortis deployment clasp. The strap and deployment alone are a $300 value.
Rubber will fit up to a 7 inch wrist.
As you can see from the photos the watch is absolutely stunning and has incredible legibility.
The yellow rubber silicone strap adds a playful vibe to the watch.
The watch punches well above its weight in terms of value and construction. Hints of the IWC Aquatimer can be seen in this watch. It is running the rock-solid ETA 2836-2 automatic movement.
Strap/bracelet changes are quick and easy.
The saw-tooth bezel has prominent fluting for ease of handling of this timepiece, even with thick gloves.
Fortis is steeped in horological history, and is credited with bringing the first automatic watch to the market in 1926
Fortis was founded by Walter Vogt in 1912. Twelve years after its establishment, Vogt set up production with John Harwood, inventor of the automatic wristwatch. In 1926, Fortis released the patented Harwood Automatic, the first self-winding wristwatch.
Sorry for all the photos here, but this watch is definitely not camera-shy!
