Greetings watch lovers.
I am selling what is the finest watch that I have ever had the pleasure of owning.
A Girard Perregaux Minute Repeater circa approx. 1895. This chronometer grade movement is one of the finest you will ever see. It has all of the best features of the watchmakers art. Highly finished with Geneva stripes, anglage, black polish, perlage, polished jewel sinks.
But what sets this watch apart is the quality of the chimes. A rare and happy confluence of physics has made the marriage of this case with this watch produce magical sound quality second to none. I have listened to dozens and dozens of minute repeaters, and I would rate the quality and purity of the sound from this watch a 9 out of 10, and this for all modern watches including Patek Phillipe.
Another amazing feature of this watch is its unparalleled accuracy. I am please to report that this watch is one of the MOST ACCURATE that I have ever owned bar none. It is operating at about +2 seconds per day and super consistently. Really its a breathtaking achievement for a hand-made movement from the 1890's.
This watch was purchased about 18 months ago from Master Watchmaker Sham Agayev of Kansas City Missouri. Here is Mr. Agayev’s website: https://www.agayevandsons.com/
I have only worn this watch 2 or 3 times, so it is as perfect as the day it was purchased.
All functions are working perfectly. Stopwatch function. About a 35 hour power reserve. Superb dial and hands in flawless condition as far as I can tell. Case is about 50mm dia and is super comfortable on my 7-1/16 inch wrist. I love the band, it is robust with a great buckle that holds the watch securely.
Please see video link attached to review the functions and listen to the chimes.

I am asking $8,500 OBO. No trades please.
One more thing, this is the FINEST WATCH that you may ever own. Cherish it, you will not find another like it in your lifetime!
