Up for sale today is my Grand Seiko SBGV245 nicknamed "Grey Beast".
This piece came directly from Japan - bought in 9/2020, comes as a full kit.
Offering this for $3600 shipped in Canada insured overnight or F2F in Toronto (Scarborough/Markham)
Condition: This piece has been worn but not abused.
Lugs and case has hairlines on polished surfaces, my fingernails can't feel them so definitely not deep and can be polished out by Grand Seiko.
Bezel has rough edges mainly around 7/10 o clock due to it having a steel bezel.
Strap has lots of life left as seen on the pics although the strap keeper is fraying a bit.
Deployant clasp is in fantastic condition with little to no desk dive marks.
Overall, this piece can be a candidate for a one watch collection especially with the 9F movement inside - you literally don't have to worry about time keeping as well as reliability on this piece. With its sporty nature, you can take it anywhere without it feeling out of place.
Now discontinued and was never officially sold in Canada, now is your time to get this nice example of this piece.
Retailed for $3000 USD and was trading above ever since its discontinuation.
Entertaining trades for other rare GS pieces or BP Bathyscaphes
