Hi guys,
I have up for your consideration my Jaeger LeCoultre black faced Memovox ref 144.8.94.s.
Jaeger LeCoultre is known for its two iconic pieces in the world of watch making: The Reveso and the Memovox.
You will be noticed when you wear this watch in a room as it exudes class.
If you do a bit of research you'll notice this Memovox is extremely rare because it had a limited run from around 1999-2002. This watch is desirable because it's one of two modern black faced Memovox models and the ONLY one with a clear case back to the amazing alarm complication. It is a real treat to see and hear the hammer hit the suspended gong. Please see video below.
Size is a very comfortable 36mm not including the crowns, just a bit over 10mm high, and 42mm lug to lug. 18mm width at the lugs. Housed in a manual wind calibre 914, humming at 28,800 bph, with a 45 hour power reserve.
It took me over 2 years to find this fantastic watch and I had it fully serviced by JLC AD in May 2016 (crowns were also replaced to ensure waterproofness) and still under warranty. Watch runs perfectly with no issues.
The watch is in excellent condition as you'd expect from a recent service. I've worn it probably ~10 times since the service and usually for just the day. There are some very minor swirls on the bezel and lugs from strap changes. Both front and back glass are clean.
The watch comes on a like new beautiful soft black calf leather Hirsch strap as well as a new JLC black alligator strap purchased from the AD (only worn when I picked up the watch from service for a day) and a JLC pin buckle.
Comes with original box but no papers. I will of course include the service papers and receipt for provenance and warranty purposes.
