They don’t come much rarer than this.
When I came across the watch it was en route to be melted down for its clearly substantial intrinsic value.
Little did I know that the journey to get this beauty running again would take the better part of two years.
I eventually found a balance assembly....and every other working part, so the listing also includes an entire donor movement in perfect working order aside from the BA.
Details:
Model: 4327
Caseback: Modèle Déposé, is Swiss/French for "Registered Design".
Serial: 582482
Year: 1940’s (est)
Case material: Rose gold
Movement: 17 jewel mechanical Rolex precision
Watch was serviced 2 months ago, and running flawlessly ever since.
And yes, I have worn this watch out. Originally I had planned on giving this watch to future wifie. However as that may be quite some time it would be a shame for the watch to not be cherished and enjoyed in the interim.
The watch is in remarkable condition given its age. I left the dial untouched and still can’t believe how well the dial has held up over the decades.
I’m asking for $3,500 for this beautiful piece of history. Offers are always welcome, trade or otherwise.
Certainly my primary concern is seeing it go to someone that will cherish it for years to come as bringing it back from the bring was no easy task!
Feel free to ask questions. Enjoy!
