Selling my newly acquired Mido 1961 Decompression Timer "Rainbow Diver" reissue. I am the original owner and special ordered it through a Canadian AD. I wore it around the house for a day on an aftermarket tropic strap. It is in pristine condition. One cool thing of note is that this watch has two sets of lug holes drilled in it to accommodate different strap types. I was able to fit a 22mm Gruppo Gamma tropic style strap quite easily in the outer most holes. The factory bracelet and straps are all quick release.
This includes everything it came with - both boxes, papers, cards, warranty, stainless mesh bracelet, leather strap and synthetic strap. It is #185 of 1961. Truly a cool watch and my phone pics don't do it justice, but I have been buying way too much lately so I have to purge most of my collection - such is life.
As these sold out in a flash, I see these going for a s high as $5K USD on the secondary market - I'm going to price it at the CAD equivalent of the lower end of the average prices I'm seeing out there in hopes of moving it quickly and hopefully leaving some room to benefit the next owner if he/she decides to flip it.
$2500 CAD shipped. I will split insurance costs with the buyer if insurance is desired.
