Listing an extremely rare bird here.... MKII Kingston Date.
54ecf7e80b2a6f5f52963e11e2540021.jpg

This is one of 300 from Bill Yao’s limited run dating to 2012, and certainly the most uncommon configuration: Date complication, no -gilt dial/hands and the red triangle. Approximately 50 of the 300 were made in this specific configuration.

For MKII fans this Kingston is the stuff of dreams.

Specifics:
39mm case with drilled lugs
Sapphire crystal
Unidirectional divers bezel with red triangle
ETA 2824 movement with date
Signed screw down crown
200m water resistance
Riveted bracelet with solid end links

Condition is very good. Usual desk swirlies commensurate with easy daily wear. Clasp shows typical desk diver use. Case/bracelet have never been polished. Crystal is free of any marks or scratches. Small mark at the 7 o’clock lug. Aluminum bezel insert is in excellent shape. Case back is hi-gloss polished and shows some swirlies typical of wear on a nato strap.

I’ve owned this watch for 2 years. Service history unknown but it keeps extraordinarily good time. It’s been on my winder for months and isn’t getting the attention it deserves. Finally (reluctantly) offered for sale to its next loving home.

Comes with original MKII shipping/storage box, paperwork (dated to 2012 original sale date), user manual, extra bracelet links, spare (brand new!) riveted bracelet, spare pins and removal tool, 2 nato straps and a Hirsch leather strap with deployant buckle.

The MKII Kingston was arguably the forerunner to Tudor’s BB58 and way, way! more rare, with a friendlier price tag. It’s a modern rendition of the vintage Rolex 6538 and wears wonderfully.
