I purchased the watch back in 2016 and had the watch overhauled by the well respected and super talented Al Archer of Archer Watches. When it was returned to me by Al, it was running on average +4s per day over 7 days of testing.
This almost 60 year old watch has been well used over it's lifetime. As is the case with most of these CK2913's, the bakelite bezel crumbled away and has been redone. This was not done by me and I assume it was completed years ago. I almost had the famous Aldo redo the bezel, but after initially agreeing to the work, he ghosted me. I have been in contact with a gentlemen out in Germany that seems to do great work redoing these bezels and I'd be happy to put the purchaser in contact with him.
Extract of the Archives from Omega dates this watch back to July 15, 1960 and was delivered to the Navy, Army and Air Force Institutes (NAAFI) in the UK.
I think the pictures I've included tell the proper tale so I'll end my sales pitch there.
What's included in the sale:
1) 1960 Omega CK2913-3 Broad Arrow Lollipop (head only)
2) Omega Extract of the Archives
3) Archer Watches repair report
If you have any questions, please ask me.
I'm asking $16,000 CAD OBO, net to me, via wire transfer. Shipping is included and will be via ParcelPro to anywhere in Canada.
Trades I'd consider:
1) Rolex 5513
2) Trilogy Speedmaster
3) Heuer Dato 45.
I'm open to others as well, just on the look out for these three.
