Yet another catch and release for me, I am selling my Omega Speedmaster. I acquired this from one of the forums sponsors about 6-7 weeks ago (it was not listed here). Watch is from Aug 2018 from a US AD, so falls under Omegas 5 year warranty that expires in Aug 2023. This watch is in pretty nice condition, signs of daily wear, a small ding that is barely noticeable on the 9 o'clock side of case that can be felt when you run your fingernail over it. Nothing that i see that couldnt easily be polished out. ON the back of the watch, there are some scratches on the lugs from ridiculously careless strap changes. If you are looking for a mint watch, this is not for you.
I believe the kit is full, not shown in the photos is the loupe, but it is included. Nato strap i wore for a few hours (was unused prior), and velcro strap appears unworn. There are 14 links not including the end / connecting links, so from what i can see the bracelet is complete. The hesalite has no deep scratches that i can see but definitely has visible marks on it that will clean up with polywatch (i had some and will include it if i can find it). The sleeve for the box is not shown, but included, but is not in the nicest condition.
After having purchased it, i was not pleased with it running about 15 sec fast, so i sent it to Omega. It just came back last week from Omega service in Montreal. The watch received a "partial service" (whatever that means), a new crown, gasket; it was pressure tested and is now running -8 sec when put crown up at night. Chronograph functions properly. I also had Omega change the bracelet screws as many of them were in bad shape from careless removal in the past.
The price is 5000$ firm, im selling at a loss at this price so will hold onto the watch below this price. Im in Ottawa, and willing to do some driving for the right trade / sale as the boxset is rather large and would prefer not to ship if possible.
Trades: Only watches on SS bracelet, in particular: Planet ocean 8900 43.5 (possibly 39mm), IWC mark XVIII, IWC pilot chrono (black or blue dial), Rolex OP 39mm (preference purple dial), Explorer 39mm, Breitling chronomat (brushed not polished). Tudor Black bay (black dial, non rivet bracelet)
Any questions please dont hesitate to ask.
