With my recent Submariner purchase (thanks Kayaker), my Speedmaster is not getting much wrist time and I have decided to let it go.

This watch was purchased on eBay from a reputable Japanese seller several years ago, unpolished and in mint condition. It its a complete set, including box, papers, manuals, warranty card and pictograph card. It dates to 2005/2006 based on serial (77**).

It remains unpolished, and shows what you would expect for several years of wear - micro scratches/swirls on the bracelet and clasp (nothing deep), and on the watch, only normal micro-scratching with the exception of 2 small knicks on the top left lug. These could easily be polished out without removing much material if the new buyer so desires. Hesalite crystal has normal micro-swirls/scratches only at an angle in light which could easily be removed with a buffing of Poly-watch. I have never polished either the watch or the hesalite during my ownership.

The watch is keeping good time (-4 to -5 seconds a day by my most recent calculations using an atomic clock), and all functions are working perfectly. Chronograph seconds hand resets exactly to the middle of the 12 o'clock marker, as do the minute and hour subdials. When I purchased the watch from the seller he stated that based on his examination of the movement prior to sale, he believed it was serviced at least once since new, however I cannot guarantee this. Watch has given me 0 issue both with timing and functions so I do not believe it needs a servicing in the near future.

I prefer a face-to-face sale in a secure location in Ottawa given my limited activity here, however I am open to shipping the watch should the buyer so choose.

I am asking $4100 CAD, and can also accept the equivalent in USD should you so choose.

Thanks,

Mark

Here are some photos in better lighting taken today - the watch is in pristine condition. Some of the earlier photos I took were not in natural light and were not particularly flattering. The watch is pristine, and the only notable damage is the tiny scratches on the top left lug - barely noticeable in person. Second hand centers exactly to 12" - any variations in the photos is just the angle.
