FS: Omega Speedmaster Reduced Ref 3510.50.00
Asking $3250 shipped or $3200 F2F.
Known since the early 1990's as the more practical alternative to the Professional Moonwatch, this 39mm Omega fits just about any wrist - regardless of gender. The thin case construction ensures that it will fit under any sleeve, and the automatic movement eliminates the need to remember to wind the watch every day.
This watch is in good condition, and has been lightly worn. The Speedy Reduced is running well and keeping good time. There are small superficial scratches in the hesalite crystal which could be polished out with Polywatch, there are no deep gouges or scratches. The 12-hour totalizer (at 6 o’clock position) resets just a hair off the 12 o’clock position - this can be seen in the photos. Finally, the red leather Omega box is starting to deteriorate, as is common with this generation of Omega boxes.
Watch was purchased from the estate section of an Ottawa-based jeweller who typically have their estate watches serviced before he sells them. However, since there are no service papers to confirm this, assume “service history unknown”. Watch comes complete with Omega box, unstamped warranty card and pictogram card, as well as two extra links (watch is currently sized for a 5.75” wrist).
While the precise vintage of this watch is unknown, it is a 2005 or earlier since it has a hesalite crystal. In 2006, Omega introduced the upgraded Speedmaster Reduced (ref. 3539.50.00) with a sapphire crystal.
Reference Number: 3510.50.00
Movement /Caliber: 3220
Power reserve: 40h
