Good day canwatchco members.
I am selling my Omega Speedmaster Split-Second carbon black dial REF:3540.50. This watch caliber is a modified ETA7750, which makes it a durable one as the 7750 has been used by many watch company and proven to be faultless and durable.
The watch is like new condition. I purchased it new from an AD and always took good care of it. I have all the manuals, boxes, warranty cards and all that was coming with the watch new. I sent the watch 1.5 years ago to omega for a service / lube / replacing all seals and push button. This is all part of their normal service. Since I had issues with my first Seamaster 300 chrono that stopped working out of nowhere, I wanted to make sure it was always maintained perfectly as this is a rare model. So it was sent for a service. Everything is 100% functional and as new. Watch never abused, never worn under water.
The watch is in a pristine condition. It has only 1 small scratch on the side of the bracelet, not even on the showing part of it. This was caused by a lazy AD which added some links to the bracelet. Let's jus say that I was pissed as it was like new at that point. This can easilly be fixed with slight polishing but better advising as this is honest sale. Serial number of the watch can be seen on photos on the warranty cards, same number is on the watch. Serial number is located inside one of the legs where bracelet is attaching, this prove the authenticity.
AD evaluated the watch could easily sell for 4000$, They usually go on ebay between 3200$ to 4000$ depending on condition.
I am looking for 3800$. Any reasonable offer can be considered. One exact same watch was sold by member on WUS for 4400.
Many pictures available on request.
