This is referred to as the Planet Orient, a not too subtle reference to the Omega Planet Ocean. For those who don’t know Orient, they are owned by Seiko, and make their own movements. But they are priced like Seikos and make incredibly reliable watches. All are made in Japan. I purchased this watch from Orient Watch USA and direct imported it myself.
This is a really sporty watch. The orange anodized bi-directional tachymeter bezel just gleams. It has 100m water resistance, a screw down crown and the original stainless steel bracelet (with extra links). The transparent case back lets you see the automatic decorated movement. The movement provides a date feature and a shows the power reserve on the main spring. The case size is 44mm.
The watch keeps good time. I wore it mostly on weekends so it shows some fine scratches but nothing ugly. I am also including the box, and a manual.
