This is the blue dial version of the Big Crown Pointer Date, purchased exactly one year ago today. It was purchased at a local A.D. and I’m the second owner. The extended warranty hasn’t been registered yet - so once registered by the new owner that leaves 2 full years of warranty left on the watch. Watch is running well, and keeping good time.
Watch is in nice shape, with small blemishes here and there. The awesome domed sapphire crystal is perfect. The polished sides have some small hairlines, and there are a couple of small rub marks on the top of the lugs, the worst being on the upper right (pictured). You can't see them unless the lighting is just right, but they are there. There are also some scratches on the back of the lugs from strap changes. All of these are shown in the photos, as bad as I could make them show up.
The stock leather strap has been worn but not worn out by any means, and the buckle on it is in excellent shape.
Included is the full kit with box, book, warranty card and receipts. Heck, I even have the shopping bag from the A.D. that it came in.
Asking $1600, and I would greatly prefer a F2F sale in Ottawa. I’m also considering trades, either sideways or up. I also have a Steinhart Ocean 44 that I will be listing soon that I could throw in for a combo deal.
