I am posting this watch for sale again. I had it sold to a CWC member and actually traded for his 16523 Daytona + cash to me. I sold the daytona recently. Unfortunately there was a death in this members family which has created some significant expenses for him. He has asked me to try and sell the 1675 as he could use the funds to help with this unexpected event. I still have the 1675 with me as i was waiting until he returned from vacation to ship it to him. I turned away at least half a dozen people after this watch was sold so I do not expect it to last long at the price I am requesting.

FSOT is a Rolex 1675 GMT-Master from 1978. The dial and handset are all original and untouched. The dial is a MK 5B dial which was confirmed by Springer of rolexforums.com. https://gmtmaster1675.com/mark-5/ for reference. Dial and hands are both in amazing shape with an excellent matching cream patina and no significant damage to report. Make no mistake, this is the factor which is most important to the value of a vintage Rolex and this watch does not disappoint. Please excuse any dust in my most recent set of pictures. These are not flaws on the dial. This watch comes on a period correct Rolex Jubilee bracelet from the early 1970's. The bezel insert is a service insert from the 1980's. The price very much reflects this. If you spend $2000 on a red back insert this is easily a $20,000 watch. I can put you in contact with multiple people in the U.S if you are looking to purchase a nice red back insert. Springer on Rolexforums is a great choice and he always has some for sale.

The watch is in perfect working condition. It was just serviced by Rolex in April of 2018 and is still under 1 year international warranty. I also just had the watch back from my preferred Rolex certified watchmaker who is also a member of this forum. He pressure tested the watch for me, found it to be keeping excellent time within 8 seconds per day, and took a movement picture for me (looks like Rolex did a clean job). Finally, he fixed the GMT hand alignment under warranty as it was off.

Price: $16,750. I am considering all trades on this piece.

Thanks for looking,

Josh
