Happy 2021 everyone!
Selling a Rolex Day Date 1803 on leather strap only, no gold bracelet. Comes with original box and paper.
Very rare find for this reference that comes with B&P. The bracelet was likely melted for the gold during of of the past recessions.
Watch is very good shape considering the age, 22xxxxx serial, dates it to late 1969. Watch was sold in 1970 according to the paper.
The crystal shows blemishes from 50 years of wear and had been previously polished. The case has been polished but only lightly and all lugs and even, strong and well defined. Dial and hands are original to the watch and shows even patina (this is the no lume version)
Watch was checked by The German watchmaker in Vancouver, it’s in excellent shape and keeping time from -2 to +4 seconds a day, service history unknown, but case back engraving indicated main spring was replaced in mid 2000s.
