Looking for a quick sale in this discontinued black beauty. Will withdraw after this weekend if not sold. I have my reasons.
You know the watch. This particular example has an uncommon stick dial that is unique to V serial GMT II models from what I’ve read. The other two variants have Roman serif II, the other has the II that look like a box in that the serifs touch each other. This watch however, has two sans-serif II’s and very uncommon. Some claim no big deal, others think it may be worth noting. See the last photo for close up. I had the crystal replaced at Damiani a couple of years ago with a genuine crystal. Sized right now to fit a 7.5” wrist plus a bit more with the easy link. No extra links. Not the best photos but looks great on the wrist. No major scratches or dings to note aside from the desk diving bracelet swirlies. This is a used watch and not perfect, obviously.
In case you’re interested, I also have a brand new untouched 97200 Oyster Bracelet that I had planned to put on it or perhaps a 126710 if I ever get one. This is the 116610/114060 bracelet with glidelock. The center links can be polished by a good watch maker or keep it as is for more of a tool watch look. Very hard to get from Rolex. Let me know, we can work out a package price. This bracelet fits many different references by the way.
Finally, if it sells this weekend I’ll throw in a brand new black RubberB strap with the green line up the middle for use with the Oyster clasp. New in package direct from RubberB. I’ll also throw in a green velvet Rolex service pouch.
