Up for your consideration is my Rolex Oysterquartz 17000 circa 1981.
One of the coolest pieces around with the 17000b integrated bracelet, inspired by Gerald Genta.
Rumours have it that Rolex only produced 1000 of these every year.
As with all my listings, I try to provide as much info on the watch (good or bad) so that the buyer doesn't get any unfortunate surprises.
Service history is unknown. Bracelet appears to have not been polished or had minimal polishing in the past, as the chamfered edges are still evident. There is a small chip in the inner edge of the crystal at 9 o'clock. It's kind of hard for the camera to pick up, but it's there.
The dial and hands are beautiful and all original, however the seconds hand has a bit of corrosion.
The watch keeps time within COSC specs at plus 3 to 4 seconds per day. Great for mechanical watches, but not to the full potential of the Oysterquartz, so a service would be in order at some point in the future.
Offered to you at $3250 for a f2f transaction in the GTA. Sale is for the watch only. No box or papers. Buyer kindly pays for shipping.
Currently, I am not looking into any trades.
I have many references on this forum. You may contact the people on my Friends List. Thank you for your consideration.
