I'm looking to sell my Rolex Submariner 114060 (SubC No Date). The watch is pretty popular and there's a lot of info on this model available online, so I won't go into too much detail on the model.
I'm going to try and make this post fairly straight forward:
- The watch was purchased by me in Dec 2014 from an authorized dealer.
- The warranty card is stamped by the AD and is valid until Dec 2016.
- I've been the only owner of this watch.
- I've worn it in a rotation approx. 2-3 days a week.
- I rate the condition of the watch at 95%. There are light scratches on the watch from desk diving. Primarily on the clasp and bracelet links at 12 o'clock, near the clasp. Very few and minor hair line scratches on the sides of the case. The bezel and crystal are perfect.
- No issues with the GlideLock clasp. It works beautifully.
- The watch is running at +2 seconds a day, regardless of its position. Well within the COSC -4/+6 rating.
- The watch has not been dropped, banged, abused or used during any extreme physical activities. I just wear it to work at my desk job.
- The package will include the watch (!), unused links, warranty card, manuals, tags and boxes. For some reason the bezel protector was not included and I didn't care to go back and get one when I found out.
- The watch is sized for a 6.5 inch wrist.
- MSRP is currently $8550.
- I'm offering the watch at $7000 shipped via FedEx fully insured.
- I've sold one watch (Speedy Pro) on this site and a few over at WUS. References on that site can be found by doing a search (same user name).
- I'm not interested in any trades.
I must say that this watch has been an absolute joy to wear. The GlideLock clasp makes this watch a perfect fit for any wrist. The ability to adjust the fit of the watch on the fly is something you'll wish you had on all your watches. The finish and particularly the fit of the watch is amazing. I've not seen another watch in this price range with such tight tolerances and little play on the bracelet and end links. The end links fit into the lugs so well it's as if it's all one piece. The bezel is buttery smooth to turn. The screw down crown is also the best I've seen at this price range. It's hard to describe - just very smooth to screw down. I think you get my point. This is a fantastic watch that you will absolutely love.
