Beautiful all original 5513 No Date Submariner from 1985 (86..... serial) in fantastic condition. Very light scratches on the case and bracelet. Clearly a babied watch! Case is nice and thick, and may not have ever been polished. If it was, it would have been a surface buff. The watch has an engraved caseback. Plexi crystal has assorted light scratches. Gloss dial has has beautiful spidering (hard to capture in photos). It was originally given as a gift to a producer/director!
There are no boxes or original papers, however, the watch was purchased in late 2014 from Van Rijk in Toronto ($8000) and will travel with the VR letter and balance of 1 year VR warranty.
Near as I can tell there is little to no stretch at all on the bracelet. The fliplock has a little dent, but very minor.
It is currently sized to fit a 7.5" wrist with a little room to spare. There are no other links with this watch at this time.
This is a gorgeous example of a 30 year old Sub. Looks near new on the wrist!
The watch is in Montreal. I will consider trades for other quality Swiss watches.
