SOLD: Seiko JDM SARY055 - $500

Up for sale is something that doesn't pop up here often: the discontinued Seiko SARY055, which is a JDM model. It's actually my dad's personal watch that he asked me to sell on his behalf. He picked it up during a trip to Japan in 2015, wore it occasionally for a year then put it away.

This is in no mean a mint watch, it has all signs of regular wear with hairlines around polished areas but no major damages/ dings. A polish could bring it back to shining. This SARY055 measures 41.5mm, 49mm lug-to-lug and, and only 11.5 mm thick. It is powered by the tried and tested calibre 4R36 with a desirable English/Kanji datewheel.

The cream dial of the watch should be the focus. It's lowkey, understating under low light, making it a perfect dress watch and strap monster.

Under sun light, the sunburst comes out with a cream, almost like Mother of Pearl rehaut around. All hands are heated blue hands. Sapphire crystal, 100M water resistant. This is a perfect GADA watch.

The case back is kept simple like other Seikos of this price range while remaining more interested and better represented than a lot of the current models. Watch comes full kit including dated paper from Japan.
